2024年12月9日-12日,第十八届生物医学工程国际学术会议(18th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering, ICBME 2024)在新加坡国立大学举办。北航国际创新学院医工交叉科创中心首席科学家樊瑜波教授(北航生物与医学工程学院、医学科学与工程学院院长)、中心主任王丽珍教授受邀参加本次国际会议并进行学术交流。
On December 9-12, 2024, the 18th International Conference on Biomedical Engineering (ICBME2024) was held at the National University of Singapore. Professor Yubo Fan, chief scientist of the Innovation Center for Medical Engineering & Engineering Medicine/National Translational Research-Education Platform for Advanced Medical Devices (ICMEEM) of Beihang International Innovation Institute (Dean of the School of Biological and Medical Engineering and the School of Medical Science and Engineering) and Professor Lizhen Wang, director of the ICMEEM, were invited to participate in this international conference and conduct academic exchanges.
中心首席科学家樊瑜波教授受邀做了题为“Biomechanical Design & Evaluation of Implantable Devices”的大会报告(Plenary Lecture),讲述了植介入医疗器械设计与评测生物力学研究方面的最新研究成果及产业转化情况,包括可降解心血管支架、心脏瓣膜和ECMO系统等面向心血管疾病植介入器械的生物力学设计与评测方法,同时介绍了北航生物医学工程学科主要研究方向。
Prof. Yubo Fan, chief scientist of the ICMEEM, was invited to give a Plenary Lecture. The topic is "Biomechanical Design & Evaluation of Implantable Devices." The latest research results and industrial transformation of biomechanical research in the design and evaluation of implant interventional medical devices were described, including biomechanical design and evaluation methods of biodegradable cardiovascular stents, heart valves, and ECMO systems for cardiovascular diseases. Meanwhile, the main research directions of biomedical engineering in Beihang were introduced.

中心主任王丽珍教授应邀做了题为“Auxetic Microstructure-based Anti-Loosening Bone Screw: Concept-Design-Biomechanical performance”的主题报告(Keynote Lecture),讲述了面向骨质疏松患者的拉胀抗拔出骨钉从概念提出到生物力学设计及临床转化方面的最新成果,同时介绍了医工交叉科创中心主要研究方向及国际学生招生、国际化人才招聘计划。
Prof. Lizhen Wang, director of the ICMEEM, was invited to give a Keynote Lecture. The topic is "Auxetic Microstructure-based Anti-Loosening Bone Screw: Concept-Design-Biomechanical performance. She introduced the latest achievements in the Concept, Biomechanical Design and clinical transformation of the pull-out nail for osteoporosis patients. At the same time, the main research direction, international student enrollment, and international talent recruitment plan of the ICMEEM are introduced.
本次会议由新加坡国立大学和新加坡生物医学工程学会联合举办,该国际会议自1983年开创以来,已成为国际生物医学工程领域最受认可的学术会议之一。樊瑜波教授和王丽珍教授参会期间与来自34个国家的700余名生物医学工程领域知名专家开展了深度讨论,并与来自新加坡国立大学、新西兰奥克兰大学、马来西亚大学等校生物医学工程领域知名专家探讨了未来即将开展的国际合作内容,进一步推进了医工交叉科创中心的国际化工作。
Jointly organized by the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Society for Biomedical Engineering, this international conference has become one of the most recognized academic conferences in the field of biomedical engineering since its inception in 1983. Professor Fan Yubo and Professor Wang Lizhen held in-depth discussions with more than 700 well-known experts in the field of biomedical engineering from 34 countries and discussed the future international cooperation with well-known experts in the field of biomedical engineering from the National University of Singapore, the University of Auckland in New Zealand, the University of Malaysia and other universities. It has further promoted the internationalization of the medical and industrial cross-science and innovation center.
