未来医学技术与装备系列学术论坛第二期,将于320日在杭州北航国际创新研究院举行

The Second Session of the Series Academic Forum on Future Medical Technologies and Equipment will be held on March 20 at the HangZhou Beihang International Inovation Institute.

Forum Introduction

新加坡理工大学(SIT)作为专注于医疗工程与智能科技交叉领域的公立应用型大学,在增材制造用于医疗设备生产方面深入钻研,其强劲的工程学科实力为相关研究提供有力支撑。新加坡理工学院(SP)在增材制造领域凭借与产业界的紧密合作,开设从材料到3D 打印操作等一系列实操课程,致力于实践教学技能的培养。本期论坛聚焦增材制造技术(Additive ManufacturingAM)在未来医学技术与装备中的应用,特邀四位来自新加坡理工大学和新加坡理工学院增材制造相关领域的专家学者,分享他们在材料创新、工艺优化及产业化应用方面的前沿成果。

As a public applied-oriented university dedicated to the intersection of medical engineering and intelligent technol-ogy, Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) conducts indepth research on the application of additive manufacturing i-n medical device production. Its strong engineering discipline strength provides a powerful impetus for relevant resea-rch. Singapore Polytechnic (SP), in the field of additive manufacturing, through its close cooperation with the industr-y, offers a series of practical courses covering everything from materials to 3D printing operations, committed to culti-vating practical teaching skills. This forum focus on the application of Additive Manufacturing (AM) in future medic-al technologies and equipment. Four expert scholars from SIT and SP in additive-manufacturing-related fields are spec-ially invited to share their cutting-edge achievements in material innovation, process optimization and industrial appli-cation.

Gan Hiong Yap 新加坡理工大学

 

Gan Hiong Yap,副教授,新加坡理工大学国家增材制造创新集群中心(NAMIC Hub@SIT)主任,新加坡工程师学会(IES)高级会员。研究方向主要集中在微流体和纳米流体科学、工程设计和维护工程领域,研究成果包括NEL中的应力腐蚀开裂检测和缓解、冷喷涂修复工艺的磨损评估等。

Gan Hiong Yap is Associate Professor and Director of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster Hu-b (NAMIC Hub@SIT) at the Singapore Institute of Technology and Senior Member of the Institution of Engineers Sin-gapore (IES). His research interests are mainly in the fields of microfluidic and nanofluidic science, engineering desig-n and maintenance engineering. His research achievements include stress corrosion cracking detection and mitigation in NEL, wear evaluation of cold spray repair process, etc.

Eugene Wong 新加坡理工大学

 

 

Eugene Wong,副教授,新加坡理工大学国家增材制造创新集群中心(NAMIC Hub@SIT)副主任。研究方向主要集中在增材制造技术、轻质铝镁金属基/聚合物复合材料和材料微波加工领域,利用回收塑料和增强材料(如菠萝叶、椰壳纤维、壳聚糖和废咖啡粉)开发了金属 FDM 线材和可持续复合 FDM 线材,为增材制造技术的发展做出了重大贡献。

Eugene Wong is Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Clust-er Hub (NAMIC Hub@SIT) at the Singapore Institute of Technology. His research interests are mainly in the areas of additive manufacturing technology, lightweight aluminum-magnesium metal base/polymer composites and microwave processing of materials, and he has developed metal FDM wire and sustainable composite FDM wire using recycled pl-astics and reinforcing materials such as pineapple leaves, coconut shell fiber, chitosan and waste coffee powder, whic-h have made significant contributions to the development of additive manufacturing technology.

Steven Tay 新加坡理工大学

 

Steven Tay,副教授,新加坡工程师学会会员,机械工程师学会特许工程师。主要研究方向为制冷系统的非高峰热能存储系统、设计和优化相变材料存储系统的新方法和聚光太阳能发电厂应用的高温相变热能存储系统。

Steven Tay, Associate Professor, Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and Chartered Engineer of the In-stitution of Mechanical Engineers. His main research interests are off-peak thermal energy storage systems for refrige-ration systems, new methods for designing and optimizing phase-change material storage systems  and high temperatu-re phase-change thermal energy storage systems for concentrated solar power plants.

Su Liap Tat 新加坡理工学院

 

Su Liap Tat ,高级研究员,新加坡理工学院国家增材制造创新集群中心(NAMIC Hub@SP)主任,研究主要集中在粉末冶金领域,为增材制造工艺定制金属粉末,同时定制材料微观结构和性能,以满足增材制造应用的行业要求。在工业3D打印金属粉末的高压惰性气体雾化工艺方面拥有丰富经验。

Su Liap Tat is a Senior Research Fellow and director of the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Cluster H-ub (NAMIC Hub@SP) at the Singapore Polytechnic . His research focuses on the field of powder metallurgy, customi-zing metal powders for additive manufacturing processes while customizing material microstructure and properties to meet industry requirements for additive manufacturing applications. Rich experience in high pressure inert gas atomiz-ation process for industrial 3D printing metal powder.
